Live crickets are used as live feeders for the reptile and arachnid industry, they are the most widely used live food available. Live crickets are a very versatile insect. In addition to reptiles and arachnids, live crickets are also a useful protein source for small mammals such as hedgehogs and hamsters. Live crickets can be substituted for mealworms for pet birds. Finches and other smaller birds are especially fond of crickets.
Live crickets are also an excellent fishing bait, especially during the heat of summer. You can use live crickets to catch small pan fish found in most lakes, ponds and streams as well as bass, pickerel, bream, catfish and trout. Live crickets can be fastened to hooks with a small rubber band.

If you order the same crickets every week, two weeks or once a month, have your crickets sent by our automatic shipment program. It's the easy way to make sure you always have live crickets available! Simply order crickets in our secure shopping cart, so that we have your credit card information on file. Then e-mail that you would like your crickets on the Automatic Shipment Program. Be sure to mention whether crickets should be shipped weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We will e-mail you back acknowledging placing you on automatic delivery. Crickets go out every Monday, or in the case of monthly deliveries, as close to the first of the month as the shipping schedule allows. We process your order for you and your card will be charged prior to each shipment. You can cancel at any time by notifying us by Friday afternoon for Monday shipments. That's all there is to it! |
